I graduated in May 2011 with a BA in Communication, I also completed a Studio Art minor.
I like to paint, take photos, and play around with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. I love to read and learn about new things, anything from tutorials in Photoshop to biographies to crafting ideas to health concerns (because there a lot of those these days) to Hollywood scandals (who doesn’t like to indulge every once in a while?). I like being in the sunshine and going fast and feeling the wind blow through my hair. I like shopping and the color pink, hot pink. I like shoes with four inch heels, because I’m short and I’m a girl and I can. I have a very eclectic taste in music. I don’t like when people don’t know the difference between words like you’re and your (Homonyms).
I decided to start a blog to document my journey to employment. I wanted a reason to be able to write about it and, hopefully, connect with and help others who are on the same journey as I am. The entire job search is complicated and frustrating, especially in today’s economy and being able to discover others who are struggling to make it out there is comforting, in the fact that I’m not the only one. It’s not that I’m just not doing something right.
In addition to my blog I also have an etsy account, SaraJaneDesign, where I sell my artwork. Currently I have photographs for sale, once I complete more paintings they will also be available.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
